Dave’s career in lighting started with 3 years working for Emco Lighting and the remainder with Philips Hadco Lighting. Dave's extensive experience and well established relationships combined with the lines that DDA represents, offers expertise, solid engineering, and excellent service. Dave holds a B.S. in Finance and Marketing and lives in Hanover, PA with his wife of 21 years and their 2 sons. Dave enjoys coaching sports and family life along with supporting his church and children’s school by offering his professional auctioneering skills.
RANDY DOMINICK, Principal
While currently the president and owner of Traffic Systems & Technology, a traffic and ITS sales company, Randy also owns a freight company named TST Transport, augmenting service and reliability. Randy offers extensive experience in the lighting market of Baltimore/ Washington and beyond, handling numerous municipalities in Delaware as well. With his well established relationship with Hadco Lighting and their market areas, Randy brings us his expertise and solid business experience as a co-owner and principle of DePorter, Dominick & Associates. After earning a B.S. in Business Management from Old Dominion University, Randy served 5 years as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corp. Randy lives in Haymarket, Virginia with his wife, daughter, and twin sons. Randy enjoys family life, coaching sports, gun collecting and shooting, doing home improvements and supporting his church
HENRY WILSON, VP of Sales
Accepting the offer to join the exciting formation of DePorter Dominick & Associates was an easy decision for Henry to make. After some experience in a mfg. facility after high school and 2 years of courses in a construction management program, Henry joined SAIC as a draftsman for 5 years. In 1987, Henry joined one of the leading electrical distributors in the metropolitan area and began a 22 year career in lighting. With extensive project management experience and with the lines that DDA represents, as well as countless others, Henry offers industry skills on both sides of the fence,offering distributors special insight for their success. Henry lives in Manassas, Virginia, with his wife and 2 daughters. He enjoys family life, home improvement projects, admiring classic cars and volunteering at his church and children’s schools.
TOM BARANY,LC-IESNA
Consulting for DDA is a part of Tom’s extensive range of experience with commercial, industrial, and military applications. In 1998, Tom met all of the qualifications for the Lighting Certification credential from The National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Profession and is currently Lighting Certified ( LC ). He is also an Energy Star Partner and has experience with LEED applications. In January 2005, Tom formed TSB Lighting to provide consulting and sales expertise in the above listed areas. He is very much aware of the need for good visibility for safety, security, and productivity through proper lighting application, and within the constraints of reduced energy, light pollution, and light trespass. Tom is a graduate of Capital University, Columbus, Ohio and served in the US Army as a Field Artillery Officer from 1970-1972. After raising 5 successful children, Tom and his wife Mary enjoy being grandparents, a good game of golf, and travelling.
